Welcome to Body Sugaring. It's a gentle hair removal technique that loves your skin as much as you do.
Natural, effective, and kind to your bits!
This is not your average hair removal.
If it's your first time trying a Full Brazilian L.A. style - you're in the right place!
Maybe you've had a bad experience somewhere else.
Or maybe you've been thinking about booking one for ages — but the thought of actually walking through the door has stopped you.
At Vivente, Brazilian Sugaring isn't an occasional add-on to our treatment menu. It's one of our specialties.
Our experienced Sugarists work with the Alexandria Professional Body Sugar paste method.
We know how to make an intimate treatment feel comfortable, professional and completely normal.
No judgement.
Bodies, hair growth, ingrowns, pigmentation and sensitive skin are all part of our everyday work.
No awkwardness.
We'll explain what to expect, protect your privacy and help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.
We'll look at how your skin responds, your hair growth and what you've tried before — whether that's shaving, waxing, IPL or laser.
And no pressure to be perfectly prepared.
If you're not sure whether your hair is long enough, what to wear, or even exactly what you want removed, that's okay. We'll guide you.
“Why was I so worried about that?”
Please reach us at hello@viventeskincare.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Sugaring is a natural method of hair removal that uses a paste made from sugar, water, and lemon. Unlike waxing, the sugar paste only adheres to dead skin cells and hair—not live skin—making it a gentler and safer option.
Most clients find sugaring less painful than waxing. Because the paste doesn’t stick to live skin, it feels more like hair being gently removed rather than skin being pulled. Pain tolerance varies, but many notice it gets easier with regular treatments.
Almost anywhere! Common areas include:
Sugaring is safe for sensitive skin,
making it suitable for delicate areas and a great alternative to derma-planing.
Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (2–4 mm). That’s shorter than what waxing requires, so you don’t need to wait as long between treatments. If you have shaved, we ask you wait ten days for optimum results.
Results usually last 3–5 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle. With regular sugaring, hair grows back finer, softer, and more sparse over time. We usually find clients can 'stretch' their appointment times after a couple of years of regular visits.
Yes. Sugaring is especially popular for those with sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, or prone to ingrown hairs, because it doesn’t irritate or damage the skin barrier.
Yes! Sugaring actually helps prevent ingrown hairs because it removes hair in the natural growth direction and exfoliates at the same time. Over time, most clients see fewer ingrowns compared to waxing or shaving, especially if they follow some simple after care tips.
Yes, sugaring is preferred during pregnancy because it’s gentle, natural, and low-temperature. Always let your therapist know if you are pregnant so we can ensure your comfort.
At Vivente, we use the Alexandria Professional paste method—the gold standard in body sugaring. Our therapists are highly trained, and our approach ensures a comfortable, hygienic, and effective experience. You’ll leave with smooth, healthy skin and long-lasting results.
